Today is the 8th January 2008 . Thought i could upload some photos but realized i'm getting frustrated over organizing it . So i'll just go without photos . Zzz . 

Found that i haven't been really blogging, it's all about hi and bye these days . Maybe i'm getting a little too busy . 

Working and studying, hardly have a chance to rest well and enough . CA2 is commencing next week and i think i should stop work for a while, i wonder if the manager would allow . I mean if he don't allow then too bad, my study comes first yeah . Anyway, this new job i working for, is bad man . Seriously on a situation whereby they're short of service crew till there's no one to guide me along when busy times are there . People there are more concern about there own responsibilities and yours . When times are busy, and i got stuck with questions about what do i do, call = no call, ask = no answers, problem = think about the solutions yourself and if you're in luck someone may help you . And that's how i left customers waiting for someone so long . Maybe things are not yet stable since it's a new restaurant, but more than 5 chef working in the kitchen yet customers still have to wait for a whole 30mins with nothing but drinks on their table . A little too unreasonable aye ? SABA has around 5-6 cooks at one time, customers seating area is much more bigger, but they could produce food fast . Makes no sense to me at all . But ah, that's not my problem anymore, all in all, i wouldn't recommend friends or people to eat at Double Bay like how i used to at SABA . SABA has nice food, nice WWO, nice breaded mushrooms, and reasonable to wait a bit longer for the food, i have many customers telling me about nice food at SABA . Double Bay, is different, maybe people here are more classy or whatever, but so far i haven't got any one, not one telling me that the food was nice . It's all about answering 'it's ok', 'it's fine' and worse, i've got one customer telling me when i asked how the fish and chip was, he answered 'just fish and chip lor' . Pricing wise, reasonable for the fish and chip, but the rest is over priced for big plates and small chunk of food splat in the middle . Drinks . . . SABA has unlimited soft drinks refillable for S$5.50, Double Bay has it one time drink for S$4.90 . Which one would you go for ? Of course, for economical people like me and most of us, i think SABA would be better . I don't know, suddenly i felt it's better working back at SABA, but i wouldn't, unless for Peter . Otherwise, it's more like working my career at Double Bay now, no freedom, no this, no that, must do this, remember that . And the head chef got angry at me that day i worked as a runner or what we called expo at SABA, i sent the food to the right table, but just because i said CHICKEN pie instead of sandwich, another guy said it's his and ate it all when it's supposed to be another guest's . What's he supposed to have ? Beef pie . So i said chicken twice in his face for nothing because he only listens out for pie . Whatever . I mean, you could blamed it on me for sending to the wrong person, but doesn't he have brains to realize he's supposed to have beef instead of chicken . He even finished the entire sandwich . 

Despite having this new job, i'm still looking for other jobs . So if i found one, it's goodbye to Double Bay . Not happy working there at all since the first day i started and there's this pressure on me for perfectness - no mistakes . I'm not attached to any senior for guidance ever since first day working, chances of making mistakes = 80% . 

All in all, i think the head chef shouldn't be unhappy about this issue and question my manager as if it's his mistake . I did it wrongly, not him, so don't let it out on the wrong person, even if you do, apologize . 

Dear dear, i feel like smoking these days . You know what i mean ? Bad cravings .
